Charlie Kulp's Visit to Fort Ward on September 5, 2015
Randall Family and Ft. Ward And Seminary Descendants Society meeting 89-year-old Charlie Kulp, the Flying Farmer, who trained our Randall uncles to fly and get their licenses. His memory is sharp and he has a great sense of humor. His 90+ companion, Evelyn Marshall went in Navy in 1944 and is still working in customer service at the Manassas airfield near their home. Great day spent listening to their stories. And thanks to Alexandria City staffers Susan Cumbey and Fran Bromberg who continue to work with the Descendants Society to revive and preserve our history.
Adrienne Terrell Washington.
