Plat with map of three parcels of land on East side of Fort Ward (across the access road from the 10 acres owned by Burr Shorts). The three parcels are labeled Lot 1, Lot 2, and Lot 3 with a note “Surveyed at the request of John A. Miller a Lot of land in Fairfax County, Virginia being part of a tract lately owned by Philip H. Hoof.”

Miller’s corner … reserving one-half of an outlet road ten feet wide from J to K at old Braddock Road for the common use of the owners of Lots numbered 2 and 3, and being the same property conveyed to the late James F. Jackson by Randolphe Claughton, commissioner by Deed dated February 5, 1894 … Liber Q-5-466…
…..tract designated on the Plat as B and being the same property claimed to have been acquired by James F. Jackson from John A. Miller and wife on December 10, 1890, and said property is just north of a little triangular parcel conveyed by James F. Jackson and wife to Robert M. Jackson”
