Letter from Armistead Boothe to John Willett, Esq.
Re: Fort Ward Condemnations, Charles and Willis McKnight

Dear John:
Sergeant Young has a piece of property at Fort Ward and has settled with the City and expects to close within the next few days. The City will take down his house and fill in his well which is the source of water supply for the McKnight properties. We had better get on the ball and close this case before we have no water supply and find the value greatly decreased.
Do you know where the contracts are?
Yours very truly,
Armistead L. Boothe
cc: William Banks, Esq.
